The purpose of this RFP is to solicit bids from suitably qualified and experienced contractors interested in the provision of Security Services in Fort McMurray for Keyano College.

Customer Service is a critical component of Keyano College's business strategy. Security Services are viewed as an
integral part of accomplishing this objective. The primary responsibility of each Security Services person and supervisor will be to provide quality customer service.

Keyano College will utilize three security staff members and one security supervisor. Typical duties will include operating the public facing Keyano College security reception and communications center, mobile and foot patrols, and responding to incidents and complaints at the Clearwater Campus, Syncrude Sport and Wellness Centre, Suncor Energy Industrial Campus (SEIC), and the Riedel Student Housing Complex.

Responsibilities include providing directional assistance to Keyano College’s visitors and students, access control, alarm response, emergency response to incidents, providing highly visible patrols to act as a deterrent and investigating suspicious activity. Each security service personnel must exercise courtesy, respect, and professionalism. In addition, the selected contractor for Security Services must be able to assure that each of its assigned personnel will comply with the duties and responsibilities as outlined in this RFP.
